Fictional C-014 and C-031 merge
All people, IDs, contact values, events and outcomes are fictional. No account was changed. Phone values are text placeholders, not callable numbers.
In the model, original form F-014 and call note CALL-031 establish the same Jamie at Demo studio. A name or shared company alone would not establish identity. The call confirms a replacement work number and current address.
| Field | C-014 before | C-031 before | Chosen value and pre-merge action |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phone | OLD-PHONE | CURRENT-PHONE | Preserve both values here; copy current value into C-014 |
| Address | CURRENT-ADDRESS | OLD-ADDRESS | Retain C-014 value |
| Newsletter | Empty | Do not send newsletter | Record and retain restriction in C-014; infer no consent |
| Owner | Morgan | Casey | Morgan following an agreed handover |
Decision and checks
Morgan chooses primary C-014 on October 12 at 10 a.m. America/New_York after checking the sources. Preserve the dependency list first: J-008, J-019, “Call” activity owned by Morgan and due October 13, and note CALL-031. This model has no attachments. Limited visibility of any item means stop and involve an administrator.
After correcting C-014, inspect Preview. The hypothetical correct result shows CURRENT-PHONE, CURRENT-ADDRESS and the newsletter restriction. If anything differs, use Back without merging. Only an agreeing preview permits Merge.
The model’s resulting C-014 retains J-008 and J-019 as separate jobs, the activity with its owner and date, and CALL-031. Casey replaces the old C-031 reference with C-014 in the project register and opens it with their own account. An actual operator must perform these checks and record their own result. Stop further merges on a discrepancy. Casey reviews the intake form on October 14 to prevent recurrence.
